Five Beauty Favorites Under $5

Thank GOD it's Friday! I'm going into the weekend with a fresh set of lashes and hopes of getting a good start on my Christmas shopping because no, I haven't started that yet - have you?

Anyways, I thought it would be fun to share with you some of the inexpensive beauty products I've been enjoying lately. Over the last week. I've realized that most of what I reach for in the mornings has come from the drugstore and very few times do I reach for my more expensive items. While compiling this list, I wanted to include products that I truly love and used multiple times a week, while having variety in the brands I mention.

Let's get started ...

  1. ELF Lock On Liner & Brow Cream $4 - I was hesitant to pick this up as I wasn't a fan of the Anastasia Dipbrow which this is practically a dupe for but after seeing Holly rave about it on Instagram, I decided to give it a try. And boy and I ever glad I did as I've been using it on my brows every day now for about two months! It goes on perfect, opaque but not too opaque and hasn't stated to dry out since. I also picked up the ELF duel ended eyebrow brush to go with it and both of them get used on the daily!

  2. Wet N Wild Perfect Pout Lip Treatment $4.97 - This one I ended up getting by mistake as I was originally on the hunt for their Lip Sleeping Mask but I'm happy to report this mistaken purchase has been a go-to! I was a bit put off when I seen it was watermelon-mint flavored because mint is NOT my favorite but you only very slightly get a hint of the mint which I can live with! I've been using this religiously every night once I get out of the shower. I do not find it AS moisturizing as the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, but for $5 - it works pretty well.

  3. Essence Brow Gel $2.99 - Brow gel is one of those things that I didn't realize how much of a difference it would make until I started applying it. But I guess that's how it goes with most things you try huh? LOL I picked this up a month or so ago at Lawtons and have been loving the product. Many moons ago, I would use the clear Maybelline Great Lash mascara to tame my brows but the applicator of this one is so much better.

  4. Essence Extreme Lasting Eye Pencil $2.99 - I can't say enough good things about this eyeliner. Beige on the waterline looks much more natural than white for me and before discovering this Essence liner, I was using Stila. The consistency of the Essence liner is way better in my opinion, it's almost gel like so it doesn't pull on your eye. And the price?! I mean COME ON.

  5. Aussie Miracle Curls Frizz Taming Cream $5.87 - Ok so technically this one is over $5 but sometimes you can get it on sale at Walmart for under! I have been rocking my natural hair and not heat styling it for about the last year (more on that later!) which has been a complete game changer for me! The Aussie Frizz Taming Cream is the last thing I put in my hair before walking out the door. Does it completely take away all frizz? No and I haven't met a product that does but this eliminates most of it and smells fantastic!

Bonus item I can't live without: Wet N Wild MegaLast Lipsticks

Over the past year or two, Wet N Wild has drastically increased their lipstick game. The MegaLast collection comes in a variety of finishes and are about $3.97 CAD each. I own MULTIPLES and they are my go to lipsticks! The color pay-off is amazing and you really can't beat the price.

Is there a beauty product you can't live without under $5?
